V I S stands for Vitality, Inspiration, Strength and my name is Jessica Dawn, I’m here to teach, inspire, & motivate you to live healthy and become fit. I’ve been working in the health industry for about 10 years and I am truly passionate about health & fitness.
Over the years of studying health & living fit, I’ve picked up some valuable tools and information that I would like to share with you. I know what it takes to lose weight, eat right, gain strength and maintain a healthy lifestyle. I’ve learned the straightforward answers that will help you to reach your weight loss and fitness goals just like I reached mine. As my understanding of health & fitness has grown, fitness has grown from a hobby (some would say an obsession), to a part time job, to a business in recent times.
I’m dedicated to building my knowledge and sharing it with others in a format they can understand and use in their daily lives.

About Me
Hi, my name is Jessica Dawn, and I am the author of this blog. I’ve been passionate about health and fitness ever since I can remember. My passion led me to obtain a Bachelors degree in Kinesiology which is similar to exercise science (too many years ago) and currently I am a personal trainer at a local university here in Ann Arbor MI.
I started this blog to teach, inspire, and interact with people interested in learning about fitness, nutrition, and health. It’s my goal to bring you new, pertinent, & applicable health and fitness information I do that by referring to academic information, medical articles, research, and the health & fitness industries newest developments [as long as I know about them
]. I hope to give you all the information and support you need to reach your fitness goals, to become healthier, to live a healthy lifestyle, and to feel good about who you are & how you look. I want you to look and feel great for the rest of your life!
As this blog grows and becomes more popular, I hope to hear from and interact with my readers more and more. I love to hear about your opinions, your challenges, your experiences, and most of all your successes. Here’s a little info about me…. I love to workout & be active. I maintain a lean and healthy body all year long. When I’m not doing health and fitness, I like to design and remodel home & landscapes, play volleyball, and spend time outdoors. I also love to read and spend time with family. I love to travel to new places and meet new people.
